Early Elementary teachers: Learn the secret tips and tricks that SLPs use to teach speech sounds to students. Ideal for Preschool-2nd grade teachers and support staff, this session will outline the process for successfully teaching speech sounds to all students. We will also practice specific speech sound cues, shaping, coarticulation strategies, and visual resources that will help as you teach your students their sounds. We will also go over strategies for teaching speech sounds to neurodiverse learners. You will leave with a handout you can refer back to with prompts for each sound.
